edamame hummus

FRIDAY! 
here's a super easy recipe for some tasty hummus. perfect to share with friends. enjoy, have a glass of white wine with it and lay back! 

ingredients
+ 1 cup edamame (did you know that there are Swiss edamame?)
+ 1 handful roasted cashews
+ 1 table spoon olive oil
+ 1 table spoon water
+ 1 table spoon tahini
+ 1-2 cloves garlic
+ salt
+ pepper

recipe
cook the edamame for 2-3 minutes in hot water, let them cool down. in the meanwhile you can already roast the cashews in the oven (180°) for around 10 minutes. make sure to stir them occasionally (otherwise they'll turn out black) ;) 
Now peal the edamame and throw all the ingredients into your blender. blend till smooth and creamy. you might want to add a little more water to it. 
In my recipe I used two garlic cloves. To me it was a little too much.. but some people like it that strong ;) and it's healthy - for sure. 

drizzle a little bit of olive oil over it. serve with fresh bread and veggie sticks.
