Watermelon cooler with aloe vera

 It feels like a thousand degrees outside on the streets in L.A. - so here's my suggestion for some refreshment. Cool down - from the inside out..

What you need for the drink:

- a few cups of watermelon
- a cup of coconut water
- aloe very juice (I use the one from Lakewood organic, it's cold pressed, non gmo and not from concentrate, I got it at Lassens - my favourite neighbourhood store)
- juice of a lime
- a little bit of ice


blend everything. If you like: add some mint or basil, replace the lime juice with lemon or fresh orange juice.

Aloe vera juice contains leaf pulp that is rich in natural nutrients and fiber. Aloe vera contains nutrient compounds that help to heal and soothe the skin. Even Cleopatra already used it to reverse signs of ageing skin and wrinkles ;)
